Imagine trying to run a race with heavy chains around your ankles. Ganito ang pakiramdam ng utang—isang bigat na pumipigil sa’yo at nagnanakaw ng iyong kagalakan. Pero kapag isinuko mo ito sa Diyos, kahit isang maliit na jar of oil ay pwedeng maging susi ng overflow.
Devotional Reflection
Debt is not just a financial issue—it can also become a spiritual bondage. It whispers:
“Hindi ka makakaahon.”
“Lagi kang may utang.”
“Lagi kang kakabahan sa bayarin.”
But our God is a God of freedom and provision.
Sa 2 Kings 4, isang widow ang may malaking utang matapos mamatay ang kanyang asawa. Imbes na manahimik o magtago sa hiya, lumapit siya sa propeta—at ginamit ng Diyos ang kung ano ang nasa bahay niya. Ang himala ay hindi galing sa bagong bagay, kundi sa kung anong nasa kamay niya na.
God doesn’t want His children enslaved to lenders. He wants you free to serve, give, and bless others. Breaking financial bondage begins with obedience, wise stewardship, and trusting Him to multiply what you already have.

Father, in the name of Jesus, I break every chain of debt, lack, and financial oppression. I renounce fear, greed, and mismanagement. I receive Your wisdom, Your provision, and Your strategy. Multiply what’s in my hand. Teach me to steward well and trust You fully. Let every debt be canceled, every chain broken, and every purpose fulfilled. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
